• Employment Type: Travel Nursing
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week; every other weekend and major holidays required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact license eligibility
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Antepartum experience, including fetal monitoring, required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required
• Fetal monitoring certification preferred
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Travel RN experience preferred
• Postpartum experience preferred
• Gynecologic surgery experience preferred
• Ability to care for high-acuity obstetrics patients with diverse clinical and social needs

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care for obstetric and women’s health patients
• Complete assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes throughout the shift
• Monitor fetal status, perform vaginal exams as appropriate, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Support mother/fetal dyads with stabilization, resuscitation, and emergency interventions when needed
• Administer medications safely and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on breastfeeding, newborn care, discharge planning, and follow-up
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and patient-centered environment for diverse populations
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on quality, safety, and excellent patient outcomes
