Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in telemetry, cardiac care, or med-surg telemetry strongly preferred
• Ability to work night shift and maintain strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Comfortable caring for adults with cardiac, post-procedure, and med-surg/tele needs

Telemetry Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult telemetry patients with cardiac and medical needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, stent placement, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac interventions
• Administer medications and treatments, including IV therapies and protocol-driven care
• Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway support, and ongoing cardiac monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, effective patient outcomes
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain clear communication during handoff and throughout the shift
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining efficiency in a 36-bed telemetry setting
