Job Requirements

• Active Texas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist Assistant experience
• Current BLS certification
• Charting system experience required; experience with any electronic medical record (EMR) or electronic charting platform accepted
• Comfort supporting outpatient rehab and physical therapy patients with a variety of mobility and recovery needs
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on physical therapy assistance under appropriate supervision
• Support treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic, spinal, neurological, and post-operative conditions
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and use of assistive devices
• Document patient progress accurately in the charting system
• Collaborate with the rehab team to help patients achieve functional goals and improved independence
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy outpatient rehabilitation environment
