Job Details

• Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long-Term Care
• Location: Geneva, New York (Finger Lakes region)
• Schedule: Full-time evenings, 5×8 schedule
• Shift Duration: 8-hour evening shifts
• Duration: 18 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,400-$1,470
• Setting: Long-term care / geriatric resident care
• Start Date: 10/13/2026
• End Date: 2/13/2027
• Work Environment: On-site, resident-focused nursing care
• Special Schedule Note: Every other weekend and holiday coverage required

Job Requirements

• Active New York LPN license
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
• At least 1 year of experience working as an LPN in a long-term care facility
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care to adult and geriatric residents
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and patient-centered care
• Comfort working in an environment where exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues may occur

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care to assigned residents
• Collect and report resident data related to physical and psychosocial condition
• Communicate changes in resident status to the RN and interdisciplinary team
• Support the development and implementation of individualized plans of care
• Evaluate resident outcomes and help recommend updates to the plan of care as needed
• Promote a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for residents and families
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to help ensure quality outcomes and resident satisfaction
• Maintain clinical competency through ongoing learning, mentoring, and orientation support when needed
• Deliver care with attention to safety, dignity, and the unique needs of adult and geriatric patients
