Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• At least 1 year of CNA experience, including required long-term care or skilled nursing experience
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and respect when providing resident care
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and maintain reliable attendance
• Current vaccinations as required by applicable state regulations
• Traveler’s permanent residence must be at least 65 miles from the facility; local travelers will not be considered

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities

• Provide attentive personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and repositioning
• Measure and document vital signs and accurately report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers, ambulation, and fall-prevention practices
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe resident environment
• Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to promote quality outcomes
• Build positive relationships with residents while protecting their dignity, privacy, and independence
