Job Details
- Setting: Acute care hospital radiation therapy department
- Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 11/30/2026
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,400 – $2,570
- Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
- Shift Options: 5×8 or possibly 4×10
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Weekends and holidays as scheduled
- Charting System: Epic/ARIA environment
- Patient Population: Pediatric and adult patients
Job Requirements
- 1+ year of experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred
- ARRT registration as a Radiation Therapist
- Active West Virginia Radiation Therapist license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical experience with IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT
- Experience with Varian treatment machines, especially TrueBeam
- Working knowledge of Varian ARIA Oncology Information System; Epic experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume radiation oncology setting with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care
Responsibilities
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments accurately and compassionately to pediatric and adult patients
- Operate and support advanced radiation oncology technology, including Varian systems and treatment platforms
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, and the care team to ensure precise treatment delivery
- Prepare patients for treatment, verify treatment plans, and maintain detailed clinical documentation
- Support a busy patient load while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care
- Participate in department orientation and follow established workflow and clinical protocols
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment in a busy hospital oncology setting
