CT Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,240-$2,400
• Location: Bethlehem, PA
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based Radiology CT Department
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• End Date: February 8, 2027
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, primarily Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Saturday flexibility to work 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. may be needed
• Scheduling: No on-call requirement; block scheduling is not available
• Orientation: 12 hours
• CT Technology: GE Revolution Apex and GE Revolution ES CT scanners; Epic and PACS

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CT Technologist experience; 2 years of computed tomography experience is preferred
• ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT(CT) certification preferred
• Valid state license or certification available at the time of submission
• Current experience performing routine CT examinations, contrast administration, venipuncture, and radiation safety procedures
• Experience documenting in Epic and working with PACS in a hospital radiology or imaging environment
• Ability to perform or willingness to learn CT-guided abscess drainages and other interventional CT procedures
• Flu vaccination required; medical and religious exemptions may be considered

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality routine and emergency CT examinations for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Complete CT studies of the head, brain, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, musculoskeletal system, vascular structures, and other designated areas
• Prepare patients, administer contrast media safely, start peripheral IVs, and monitor patients throughout examinations
• Perform CT angiography, coronary CTA, trauma imaging, brain perfusion, and other advanced CT studies as assigned
• Support CT-guided interventional procedures, including aspirations, biopsies, and abscess drainages
• Apply appropriate isolation precautions, PPE, radiation safety practices, and quality-control standards
• Use multiplanar reconstruction, 3D rendering, maximum intensity projection, surface-shaded displays, and volume-rendering techniques when indicated
• Collaborate with radiologists, emergency services, ICU teams, nursing, and other departments to deliver timely, patient-centered care
