Travel EMT / Paramedic – Night Shift | York, PA

Job Details

• Location: York, PA 17403
• Employment Type: Travel
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,000 – $1,080
• Weekend Coverage: As needed
• Holiday Coverage: Required as needed, including select major holidays
• Pre-Approved Time Off: Up to 1 request
• Charting System: EPIC experience heavily preferred

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of EMS, paramedic, or emergency medical transport experience required
• Active Pennsylvania state license required
• NREMT certification required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Experience providing patient care in a fast-paced emergency response or transport setting preferred
• EPIC experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work overnight shifts in a high-acuity healthcare environment
• Must be able to comply with facility vaccination and screening requirements

Responsibilities

• Respond to EMS calls and provide care for urgent and emergent patient conditions
• Deliver safe, protocol-driven treatment in accordance with state scope of practice
• Assess patients and perform emergency interventions as clinically indicated
• Support patient transport, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring across a variety of age groups
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic charting system
• Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other clinical team members to ensure patient safety
• Adapt to changing patient needs, including potential exposure to COVID-related cases
• Maintain professionalism and readiness for required weekend and holiday coverage
