• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required

• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Additional Note: May float to nearby campuses within scope of practice when census permits

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required
• Travel RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
• Current certifications must be from AHA or ARC
• Epic experience preferred
• Two professional references from within the last year required
• Ability to complete onboarding and compliance documentation on time

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, compassionate, and cost-effective nursing care in the emergency department
• Assess, triage, and treat patients across the lifespan with urgent and emergent needs
• Support care for medical, neurological, respiratory, psychiatric, and trauma-related presentations
• Administer medications, establish and maintain IV access, and perform emergency interventions as needed
• Monitor patient status, interpret rhythms and diagnostics, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to promote safe, efficient patient flow
• Float to other campuses when needed and appropriate within scope of practice
