Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Level III NICU Contract in Pennington, NJ
Experienced NICU Registered Nurse wanted for an 8-week travel nursing contract in Pennington, New Jersey (08534). Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2020-$2130
- Location: Pennington, New Jersey
- Healthcare Setting: Level III NICU with 12 intensive care bassinets and 15 Level II bassinets
- Start Date: 9/29/2026
- Contract Length: 8-week travel contract
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Shifts Per Week: 3
- Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
- EMR: Cerner
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience required
- Prior travel nurse experience strongly preferred
- Active New Jersey RN license or compact nursing license required at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- Ability to work night shifts in a neonatal critical care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and response to treatment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions in accordance with nursing standards
- Support families through education, communication, and compassionate bedside care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Cerner EMR system
- Follow unit protocols, patient safety standards, and infection prevention practices
