Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Assignment in Westfield, MA
Join a collaborative Med/Surg Telemetry and Intermediate Care Unit as a Travel Registered Nurse in Westfield, Massachusetts. Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250-$2,370
- Location: Westfield, Massachusetts
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse assignment
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks, through January 17, 2027
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
- Unit: 50-bed Med/Surg Telemetry and Intermediate Care Unit
- Typical Patient Ratio: 6:1

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Nursing degree
- At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience required
- Two or more years of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
- Previous telemetry nursing experience preferred
- Ability to provide safe, organized care in a fast-paced inpatient environment
Travel RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical, telemetry, and intermediate care setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition
- Complete patient assessments, administer medications, perform treatments, and evaluate patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate patient updates during handoffs
- Promote patient safety, comfort, education, and continuity of care
