Emergency Room RN Job Details
- Specialty: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Location: Middle Township, New Jersey
- Healthcare Setting: On-site emergency department
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $730-$770
- Schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; must work 6 shifts per 6 weeks
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Emergency Room Nurse Requirements
- At least 3 years of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse or emergency department RN experience
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- ATCN or TNCC certification
- Prior experience using Epic electronic medical records (EMR)
- Current flu vaccination required
Emergency Department RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to patients presenting to the emergency department
- Perform patient assessments, triage, monitoring, medication administration, and ongoing reassessments
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to urgent and emergent situations
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support timely treatment and patient flow
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
