- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930-$2,030
- Nursing Schedule: 3 shifts per week

LTAC Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Pennsylvania
- At least 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience
- Long-term acute care, critical illness recovery, rehabilitation, or comparable acute-care experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before the first shift
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required before the first shift
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and prioritization skills
Long-Term Acute Care Nursing Responsibilities
- Complete nursing assessments within the required timeframe and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and communicate pertinent updates to the interdisciplinary care team
- Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and ongoing care accurately and promptly
- Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and contribute to rehabilitation and quality-outcome goals
- Initiate discharge planning and provide patient and family education in preparation for transition of care
- Delegate appropriately and provide direction, training, and supervision to nursing support staff
- Promote patient and staff safety through proper handling techniques, infection prevention, hazard awareness, and adherence to clinical policies
- Prioritize assignments, manage time effectively, and support efficient LTAC unit operations
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation when requested and participate in ongoing professional development
