Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry Contract in Needham, Massachusetts

Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470-$2,600
- Location: Needham, Massachusetts
- Healthcare Setting: Nursing Float Pool
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts, including 7:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Rotating holidays
- Start Date: January 4, 2027
- Contract Duration: 8-week travel nursing contract
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call time
Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
- At least 2 years of recent medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification
- Recent Epic electronic medical record experience
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Complete focused nursing assessments, care planning, clinical documentation, and patient education
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate effective patient care
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Promote patient safety, comfort, dignity, and continuity of care throughout the travel assignment
