Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Contract in Somerset, Kentucky

Emergency Department RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Kentucky
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department RN or Emergency Room RN experience
- Ability to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care in a high-acuity emergency department
- Current required certifications and completion of applicable onboarding requirements before the travel assignment start date
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, teamwork, organization, and prioritization skills
Emergency Room Travel Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Perform focused nursing assessments, monitor patient status, and promptly identify changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments according to orders, policies, and professional standards
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support timely patient evaluation and treatment
- Assist with emergency procedures and maintain accurate, timely patient documentation
- Educate patients and families while delivering compassionate care during stressful situations
- Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and efficient Emergency Department flow
