Travel Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,150-$2,310
• Location: Lynchburg, Virginia
• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab

• Start Date: October 19, 2026, or November 2, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 16, 2027
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, approximately 7:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., 4 days per week
• Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week
• Call Requirement: 1-2 nights of call per week and every fifth weekend
• Float Requirement: Float to a nearby affiliated campus up to twice weekly; drive time is compensated according to assignment terms

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or closely related specialty
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist certification or an accepted equivalent
• One of the following qualifications: ARRT certification with a Virginia license, graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with structural heart procedures preferred
• Ability to participate in scheduled call coverage and float between designated campuses

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled cases
• Assist physicians and the procedural team during cardiac and vascular interventions
• Monitor and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Support structural heart procedures when qualified and assigned
• Ensure accurate operation and readiness of specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory equipment
• Participate in night and weekend call coverage as scheduled
• Float to an affiliated campus as needed while maintaining high standards of patient care and procedural safety
