Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910-$2,010

- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.

- Patient Ratios: Approximately 4:1 to 5:1
- Documentation: Meditech EMR

Emergency Department RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Texas
- At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department or emergency nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications
- Strong emergency assessment, prioritization, triage, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotate weekends
- Positive, adaptable, team-oriented approach to emergency patient care
Emergency Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, timely nursing care to emergency department patients across a range of acuity levels
- Perform rapid assessments and triage, initiate interventions, and continuously monitor patient condition
- Care for patients requiring tPA, STEMI response, CPR, laceration repair support, and orthopedic treatment
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely while documenting care accurately in the Meditech EMR
- Recognize changes in patient status and escalate concerns promptly
- Support a positive emergency department culture through clear communication, professionalism, and teamwork
