Travel Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Contract in Cleveland, Ohio

- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Available Shifts: Days, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.; nights, 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
- Scheduling Requirements: Holiday and weekend rotation required
- Call: No call required
- Hours: No guaranteed hours
- Openings: 10
Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry Registered Nurse experience
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Ohio
- Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
- BSN and professional nursing certification are preferred
Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring medical-surgical or telemetry-level care
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, laboratory results, and changes in patient condition
- Perform focused and comprehensive nursing assessments and promptly escalate clinical concerns
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established standards and provider orders
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans
- Accurately document patient care and communicate effectively during patient handoffs
