Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800-$1,890

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
- At least 1 year of recent emergency department or emergency room nursing experience
- Current RN credentials in good standing
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and maintain a 36-hour weekly schedule
- Strong patient assessment, triage, prioritization, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Commitment to safe, compassionate, and patient-centered emergency care
Emergency Nursing Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and provide emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
- Recognize changes in patient status and respond promptly to evolving clinical needs
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to established orders and protocols
- Monitor vital signs, pain levels, laboratory results, and patient responses to treatment
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, reassessments, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families
- Support efficient emergency department patient flow while maintaining high standards of nursing care
