This 14-week Emergency Room Registered Nurse assignment is a strong fit for an experienced Emergency Department RN who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, values teamwork, and is confident caring for patients with a wide range of needs. Located in Lansing, Michigan, this travel nursing opportunity offers meaningful clinical variety, a collaborative team culture, and the chance to support a busy Level I trauma setting. Job Details
- Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) / Travel RN
- Setting: Emergency Department
- Location: Lansing, MI 48912
- Assignment Length: 14 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,890 – $1,990
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Shifts Per Week: 4
- Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends per 4-week schedule
- Floating: May float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
- On-Call: Not required
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
Job Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license by the start date
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Level I trauma experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH certification required
- ENPC preferred
- Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting
- Ability to support night shifts, weekends, and occasional pediatric floating
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with a wide range of acute and critical needs
- Support trauma, stroke, cardiac, neuro, and general emergency presentations
- Monitor and manage dysrhythmias, IV therapy, and emergency interventions
- Assist with procedural sedation, ventilated patients, and advanced ED procedures as needed
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, efficient patient flow
- Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication
- Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and maintain excellence in a busy Emergency Department
