Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
• Minimum of 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• ACLS certification
• Labor & Delivery experience preferred, including high-risk obstetric care
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support high-risk obstetric patients using strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Assist with admissions, assessments, medication administration, and patient education
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards for quality patient care
• Contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment for families during an important life event
