- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Location: San Leandro, California – East Bay healthcare setting with easy access to Bay Area amenities and coastal living
Job Requirements
- 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred
- Recent Labor & Delivery or high-risk OB experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate patient care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Support high-risk obstetric deliveries using strong clinical judgment and teamwork
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote positive outcomes
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the birth experience
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety and quality care standards
