Job Details
- Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry
- Employment Type: Travel RN
- Schedule: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Contract Length: 18 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
- Start Date: 10/23/2026
- Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
- Location: Mayfield Heights, Ohio
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
- All certifications must be active and available at submission; pending items are not accepted
- Must be able to complete required orientation assessments during onboarding
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate patient care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, complete assessments, and document nursing care accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes
- Provide patient education and reinforce care plans throughout the shift
- Maintain a strong focus on clinical excellence, teamwork, patient safety, and timely communication
