Job Details

Job Requirements
- Active Texas RN license or compact RN license
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience preferred
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Strong compassion, empathy, and a team-first mindset
- Experience with emergency nursing workflows and rapid clinical decision-making
- Comfort working in a fast-paced ER environment with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR is a plus
- Preferred skills include TNCC and ENPC
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency patients across a wide range of acuity levels
- Perform and assist with common ED procedures including IV starts, blood draws, cardiac monitoring, moderate sedation, and TNK administration
- Support safe, timely interventions in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining efficiency in a high-volume emergency department
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture that supports excellent patient outcomes
