- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour days

Job Summary

Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience required
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey or compact eligibility, if applicable
- Current BLS certification
- Knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, sterile technique, and surgical safety practices
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, high-acuity surgical setting
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout the perioperative process
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures
- Maintain the sterile field and support infection prevention and patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary team members
- Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition during surgical procedures
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Support efficient room turnover and readiness for scheduled cases
- Deliver compassionate care and education to patients and families before and after procedures
