Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred; Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Comfortable caring for patients across a wide range of emergency presentations
- Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and respond promptly to urgent needs
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary staff to support efficient patient flow
- Document care accurately and maintain a safe, professional environment
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy acute care setting
