- Additional Notes: Travelers should be prepared to support multiple surgical environments as needed
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in surgical services or CVOR
- Recent experience within the last 12 months required
- Active BLS certification
- Active ACLS certification
- EPIC experience required
- Travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
- Ability to scrub within the posted specialty
- Must be willing to float within the OR setting as needed
- All required credentials must be active and available at submission
- Must be able to meet compliance requirements prior to start
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiovascular and general operating room procedures
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical cases
- Support surgeons and the OR team throughout complex cardiovascular procedures
- Perform instrumentation, setup, and intraoperative support for CVOR cases
- Maintain accurate workflow within EPIC and follow unit documentation standards
- Adhere to safety, infection prevention, and universal protocol practices
- Assist with case turnover, supply readiness, and room preparation
- Provide reliable support during high-acuity surgical procedures
