Job Details

• Position: Med/Surg LPN
• Employment Type: Travel LPN / Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Roswell, NM 88201
• Start Date: 10/26/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350 – $1,420
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; floating and rare call may be required

Job Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license or certification
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or medical-surgical experience required
• BLS certification required
• IV certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Ability to work nights, every other weekend, and adapt to a busy, high-acuity, fast-turnover unit
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• Willingness to float as needed and provide safe, patient-centered care

Responsibilities

• Provide delegated direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse
• Perform patient care tasks such as vital signs, ADLs, education, and documentation
• Administer medications and peripheral IV therapy as permitted by scope and facility policy
• Assist with physical assessments and data collection
• Support discharge planning and implementation of physician orders
• Help maintain safe staffing flow by prioritizing care and assisting with admissions and discharges
• Communicate effectively with the care team and contribute to a smooth, efficient Med/Surg unit environment
• Maintain clinical competency through ongoing learning and professional accountability
