Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse Job in Lynchburg, VA | 13-Week Night Shift Assignment

Job Requirements
- Active Virginia RN license or compact Registered Nurse license at the time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, teaching-oriented healthcare environment
- Availability for every other weekend and at least one major holiday during the assignment
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate care to Medical-Surgical patients in an inpatient hospital setting
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
- Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and nursing standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Assist with postoperative care and complex surgical patient care as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and promote clear communication across the care team
- Support unit operations with professionalism, flexibility, and a strong teamwork mindset
