Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience in oncology nursing, infusion therapy, or a closely related outpatient setting
- Current chemotherapy and biotherapy certification required
- BLS certification required
- Recent Epic experience within the past 2 years required
- Experience administering chemotherapy in a clinic or outpatient infusion setting required
- Strong background in adult hematology/oncology preferred
- Reliable transportation recommended for this Vermont healthcare location
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult hematology/oncology patients receiving infusion therapy
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments according to established protocols
- Monitor patients closely during treatments and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical communication with the care team
- Support an efficient outpatient workflow while maintaining an excellent patient experience
- Maintain adherence to infection prevention, medication safety, and clinic standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality oncology care
- Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment in a busy outpatient cancer care clinic
