Experienced Registered Nurse needed for a rewarding Endoscopy RN assignment in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,190 – $2,434
- Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania
- Setting: Endoscopy
- Start Date: 10/12/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Shifts Per Week: 5
- Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Call: One weekday per week and one weekend per month; weekday call is Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM – 6:30 AM, and weekend call is Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM
- Additional Scheduling Notes: Every other holiday and every other weekend as needed
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required
- Previous Endoscopy or procedural nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient care skills
- Ability to participate in call rotation and flexible scheduling needs
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
- Prepare patients for procedures and complete pre-procedure assessments
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, documenting responses and clinical status
- Assist physicians and procedural team members during Endoscopy cases
- Administer medications and support sedation recovery in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow
- Participate in on-call coverage and support patient care needs during scheduled call periods
