Join a collaborative hospital float pool as a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse in Plymouth, Massachusetts. - Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract
- Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele)
- Setting: Hospital float pool covering Medical-Surgical Telemetry units
- Location: Plymouth, Massachusetts
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,470 – $2,600
- Start Date: October 5, 2026
- Shift Expectations: Weekends and holidays as needed
- Orientation: Biweekly
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
- Ability to successfully pass a telemetry competency exam
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to complete onboarding dysrhythmia and medication testing
- Strong knowledge of critical paths preferred
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Must be comfortable with float pool assignments and overflow areas
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, skilled nursing care to patients on Medical-Surgical Telemetry units
- Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Float to like units and overflow areas as needed
- Collaborate with the care team to support quality outcomes and smooth patient flow
- Complete required onboarding assessments and maintain compliance with assignment standards
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy acute care hospital setting
