- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 – $2,080
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- On-Call: Voluntary
- Floating: Yes, as needed during low census
- EMR: EPIC
Job Requirements
- Active New Mexico RN license or current Compact State RN license
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current BLS certification from AHA
- Current ACLS certification from AHA
- Current PALS certification from AHA
- Current TNCC or ATCN certification required
- CPI / De-escalation certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide age-appropriate emergency nursing care
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care in a busy Emergency Department
- Perform initial triage assessments and prioritize care based on patient symptoms, age, and psychosocial needs
- Reassess patients regularly to identify changes that require intervention
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Administer timely nursing interventions and document patient care accurately in EPIC
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust the plan of care as needed
- Support patient and family education, including discharge planning
- Perform point-of-care testing and follow established clinical standards
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing team members to deliver high-quality emergency care
