Job Details
- Position: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med/Surg RN)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
- Location: Ishpeming, Michigan
- Start Date: 08/21/2026
- End Date: 11/20/2026
- Setting: Critical access hospital / acute care
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Travel nursing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside care to adult medical-surgical patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status promptly
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Support a safe, organized, and compassionate care environment
