Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel) – Modesto, California

- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 6, 2026
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,030 – $3,190
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification
- ACLS certification preferred/required for consideration
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- High-risk OB experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients throughout labor and delivery
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and clinical expertise
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe outcomes
- Assist with high-risk obstetric care as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
- Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced, team-oriented women’s health environment
