Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry Job in Falmouth, Massachusetts
Travel to Falmouth, MA for a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) assignment in a scenic Cape Cod community. Join a patient-centered acute care team and strengthen your telemetry, medical-surgical nursing, IV therapy, and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced hospital environment.

- Shift Length: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Schedule: Rotating nights, every other weekend, rotating holidays
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
- Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
- Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Ability to perform phlebotomy and demonstrate IV insertion and IV therapy experience
- Completion of a Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
- Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia exam
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive bedside nursing care for telemetry and medical-surgical patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes and clinical updates
- Administer medications safely and accurately according to nursing standards
- Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, and related clinical procedures as needed
- Care for post-operative, orthopedic, and medically complex patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Provide clear patient and family education to support positive outcomes and discharge readiness
- Document care thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Respond effectively in urgent and emergency situations while maintaining professional standards
