- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekend Coverage: On-call only
- On-Call Expectations: Approximately 1 weekday night per week and 1 weekend per month
- Holiday Expectations: 1 major or 2 minor holidays
- Location: Falls Church, VA 22042 — a convenient Northern Virginia location known for its accessibility, community feel, and proximity to the Washington, D.C. metro area
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- RCIS certification required
- Experience working in a hospital-based cath lab or cardiovascular procedural setting
- Ability to work scheduled weekday shifts and participate in on-call coverage
- Experience with Epic is preferred
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures in a busy hospital cath lab
- Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
- Support physicians, nurses, and clinical staff during procedures to ensure safe, efficient workflow
- Monitor patient status and maintain accurate documentation throughout the case
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared procedure environment
- Respond to on-call needs as scheduled, including occasional weekday nights and weekend coverage
- Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered cardiovascular care team
