Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a busy ER setting
- Flexibility to float as needed
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency care environment
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Assess, triage, monitor, and stabilize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, efficient patient care
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR
- Maintain readiness to respond to changing patient needs in a fast-paced emergency department
