- Patient Ratio: 4:1
- EMR: MedHost EDIS
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department or Emergency Room experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to work nights and thrive in a busy, high-acuity acute care environment
- Strong teamwork, critical thinking, triage, and communication skills
- Flexibility to float as needed
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to emergency patients in a fast-paced ED nursing environment
- Assess, monitor, triage, and stabilize patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and document care accurately in the EMR
- Maintain readiness for changing patient volumes, acuity levels, and emergency department workflow throughout the shift
- Provide support across the unit as needed, including floating when required
