- Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Schedule: Rotating Saturday onsite coverage
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 to $1,820
Job Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD) and Licensed Dietitian (LD) credentials required
- Current Texas dietitian license required
- At least 1 year of acute care dietitian experience required
- NICU experience preferred
- Experience working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively with a team of dietitians and clinical staff
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for acute care patients
- Complete nutrition-focused physical exams and document findings accurately
- Participate in ICU multidisciplinary care rounds and medical-surgical care rounds
- Support timely nutrition documentation and follow-up care
- Complete nutrition assessments within the required 72-hour policy window
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to improve patient outcomes
- Float as needed within acute care and NICU-related areas
