- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,450 – $2,580
- Call Requirement: Possible on-call coverage
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
- Experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgery cases preferred
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical services setting
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
- Flexibility to support on-call needs as assigned
Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and surgical technologists in maintaining a safe, efficient operating room environment
- Prepare the operating room, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures
- Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Maintain sterile technique and uphold high standards of patient safety
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient outcomes
- Support complex surgical cases across multiple specialties
