• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,350 – $1,420
• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., every other weekend, holiday rotations
• Call: Required
• Charting System: EPIC
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:7
• Experience Level: At least 1 year of nursing experience required

Job Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN license
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or another 24/7 skilled care environment
• Preferred experience in med-surg, inpatient rehabilitation, or acute rehab nursing
• Strong EPIC experience preferred; recent hands-on charting experience required
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity rehabilitation environment
• Willingness to support the care team by assisting CNAs and responding to call lights as needed for patient safety
• Comfort with a structured schedule, attendance expectations, and mandatory break compliance

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to adults receiving inpatient rehabilitation services
• Support patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputations, and complex orthopedic conditions
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition in a high-acuity setting
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote recovery, safety, and progress toward discharge goals
• Assist with daily nursing tasks, patient support, and timely response to call lights
• Document care accurately in EPIC and maintain organized clinical records
• Work with mobility and clinical equipment such as lifts, slide boards, vital sign machines, EKG equipment, and BGM devices
• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and a team-first approach throughout the assignment
• Adapt to potential floating needs within a nearby rehabilitation facility if required
