- End Date: 11/14/2026
- Assignment Length: 8 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
- Weekly Commitment: 48 guaranteed hours
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890
Job Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 1 year of recent cardiac, stepdown, telemetry, progressive care, or medical-surgical nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring, post-procedure recovery, and acute care nursing
- Experience with medication titration, IV therapy, and infusion management
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Comfort supporting adult and older adult patient populations
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assess and reassess patients using the nursing process to guide individualized care
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Provide care for patients before and after CABG and interventional cardiac procedures
- Manage sheaths, closure devices, specialized drips, and medication titration as needed
- Assist with procedures and therapies including ACT testing, sedation, pain management, chest tube care, and central line support
- Deliver safe, accurate IV therapy, infusion therapy, and nutritional support such as TPN/PPN
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure excellent outcomes and a smooth patient recovery
