- Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 36
- Guaranteed Hours: 39
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830 – $1,970
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of operating room experience required
- Experience in Orthopedics, Neuro, and Spine preferred/required
- Current Surgical Tech certification for travel assignments
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and operating room workflow
- Ability to follow physician and RN direction in a fast-paced surgical setting
- Commitment to maintaining a safe environment and standard precautions at all times
Responsibilities
- Assist in the care of the surgical patient throughout operative procedures
- Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment needed during surgery
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs to support efficient, high-quality procedures
- Maintain the sterile field and uphold strict infection control practices
- Follow established hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Support a safe, organized, and patient-focused operating room environment
