Travel Registered Nurse – EP Lab / Cardiac Observation Unit – Tucson, AZ
Travel RN opportunity in Tucson, Arizona for a high-acuity EP Lab and cardiac observation unit. - Schedule Highlights: Day shifts with rotational call coverage, including weekends
Job Requirements
- Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent registered nurse experience in a high-acuity clinical setting
- Experience in PACU, ICU, telemetry, cath lab, cardiac care, or surgery center settings strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, critical thinking, and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural and cardiovascular environment
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care for cardiac observation patients
- Admit and prepare patients for cath procedures, cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Start IVs, complete charting, and prepare access equipment and pre-procedure checklists
- Monitor and recover patients following cath procedures involving conscious sedation
- Assist with bedside procedures, including sedation support, circulation monitoring, and documentation for CV and TEE
- Discharge patients with clear education, documentation, and physical discharge support
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient outcomes
