Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
Emergency Room RN Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and respond effectively to changing patient needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support efficient patient flow and quality outcomes
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient status accurately and promptly
- Deliver compassionate patient and family education throughout the emergency care experience
