Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of prior pharmacy experience required
- Pharmacy Technician Certificate required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Experience in outpatient pharmacy or medication dispensing is preferred
Responsibilities
- File medication orders and delivery receipts accurately
- Compound or package medication orders according to pharmacy procedures
- Prepare medications for delivery and distribution
- Package medication cycle exchanges and prepare them for delivery
- Assist with pharmacy inventory management and stock organization
- Run and file daily reports to support pharmacy operations
- Support coordination of daily and cycle fill workflow
- Perform all duties under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
- Assist in training new pharmacy technicians on duties, responsibilities, and pharmacy operations
- Complete additional pharmacy support duties as assigned
