• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730-$1,860

Job Requirements

• Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program and/or licensure as a Surgical Technologist
• Active Surgical Technologist license in the state of Colorado
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• At least 1 year of experience in an operating room, surgical technologist, or perioperative setting preferred/required
• Working knowledge of sterile technique and aseptic technique
• Familiarity with AORN standards and perioperative best practices
• Ability to complete online learning and computer-based requirements within 90 days
• Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking

Responsibilities

• Assist during surgical procedures while maintaining a sterile field and supporting the surgical team
• Prepare, inspect, and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Monitor the sterile field and take appropriate action to help prevent contamination
• Support patient safety by ensuring the operating room environment is ready and equipment is functioning properly
• Participate in pre-procedure briefings, time outs, and debriefings with the perioperative team
• Assist with patient transports, room turnovers, and room preparation
• Clean and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization
• Work toward competency in Tier 1 surgical cases and continue building clinical skills
• Model professional behavior, effective communication, and a culture of safety
• Perform additional duties as assigned
