• Setting: Inpatient acute care hospital / Rehab Services
• Location: Anchorage, Alaska
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,690 – $1,820
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 4 days per week
• Schedule: Rotating schedule including weekends; 2-3 weekends per month
• EMR: EPIC
• On Call: Not required
• Dress Code: Light/olive green scrubs

Job Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapist license or certification required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care Occupational Therapy experience required
• Experience working in an inpatient hospital or rehab services setting preferred
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Ability to manage a daily patient load of approximately 8-10 patients
• Must be able to complete Alaska state fingerprinting and background clearance, or be in provisional status to start
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in an acute care hospital rehabilitation setting
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Support patients in improving mobility, function, and independence with daily activities
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including therapy professionals
• Maintain a patient-centered approach while working a rotating weekend schedule
• Deliver high-quality inpatient occupational therapy services in a busy hospital environment
