Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry Stepdown in Lima, Ohio

- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
- Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or compact licensure eligibility
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- BLS and ACLS required
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- Ability to interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
- Experience with telemetry, stepdown, med/surg, or acute care nursing preferred
- Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Ability to work night shift and adapt to a high-acuity, fast-paced healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care using the nursing process
- Complete ongoing patient assessments and respond to changes in condition
- Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythm changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Administer medications and titrate drips according to patient needs and unit protocols
- Care for patients with chest pain, CHF exacerbations, pre- and post-cardiac cath needs, and other telemetry-level conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, PCTs, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Support patient education, comfort, and family communication throughout the care experience
- Maintain accurate documentation and promote a safe, organized, and compassionate care environment
